Getting Back to It

I am so excited to get back to working out. I had to take the month off until the doctor released me to be back at 100%

working-out-quotes2With the way that our schedules have been working out, getting to the Gym isn’t always happening. With that in mind I am going to be doing something different.

So for Three days out of the week I will go to the Gym (Where Possible) And for the other three days  I will be using:

I will be using the Pilates for beginners DVD the one I Purchased actually came with a stretch band. I don’t believe that this one does.

The best part about this DVD is that you can pick how many workouts you want. Each section is about 10 minutes and you can mix and match them.

Also If you just need a good stretch the 10 minute stretch on this DVD is by far my favorite one to do and it works for me.

I will also be using some of the workouts from The Hot Body book by Cassie Ho.

I loved her 30 day Challenges, and her YouTube videos so you bet I went and got this book.

The book has plenty of pictures and simple instructions to follow. She has different workouts divided up by season and she even has clean eating meal plans based on seasonal ingredients.

Now I know what your thinking and Yes I survived Halloween and now I must contend with Thanksgiving.

I don’t have many cravings (Thanks to my Sunrider) but It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without dinner. With that in mind I am going to try my best to set a goal this Thanksgiving.

Goal: To Eat  in Moderation.

  • I love food and I am the type to pile up a plate. So I am going to use the smallest plate that I can.
  • I have a habit of taking heaping spoon fulls so my goal is to try and take smaller and more appropriate portions.
  • Dessert…my weakness. This one is going to be the hardest but my goal is to keep it in moderation or bring a healthy alternative to keep the calories down AND the sugar spike at bay.

So here goes to the Holiday Season!
