Hello,

This is my first posting here on eating healthy to lose weight, and I would like to start this off by saying thank you for readin this blog. It means a lot to me that you care enough about your health, that you are researching better ways to live.

If you are searching to lose weight chances are you are looking for an answer for other problems in your body as well. You feel fatigued, you dont go to the bathroom as often as you are supposed to (3 “number 2′s a day!) You might even be scared or overly anxious. Oh and of course feel you need to lose them darn love handles!

Well eating healthy to lose weight, is dedicated to sharing with you all the ways one can eat to feel better, and have a more enjoyable quality of life, cause lets face it… if we all could live longer, but still be in a bucket load of pain.. why the hell do we care!

What I will share with you is a recollection of the past 3 years of our time with getting more acquainted with our bodies, feeding them properly, watching changes happen, that we didn’t even know we had… and how amazing my family is today. No we haven’t lost all our weight but we lost a lot of it, and getting closer to our target weight everyday.

If you are looking to lose weight in one month, say 50 pounds worth… then most likely this isn’t for you… although I have seen it happen… its just unlikely it will happen with everyone.

I am a firm believer in whole foods, and more importantly, QUALITY whole foods. It really is hard to find them these days with all the current agricultural nightmares, genetic engineering, farmers going out of business due to… companies… people just not buying the vegetables anymore, and poor education.

All those factors combined and many more is why so many vegetables are so bloody expensive. The fascinating thing, is, no one vegetable is alike. You might say “oh look i am eating a carrot, this is really good for me.” You would be partially correct, but make sure you are eating the carrot with close to 18,000 IU’s cause actually carrots can range from 1000- 20,000 IU’s IU is the unit of measurement well in a simple form, tells you the nutritional content… well energy of the food. So no one vegetable is the same as the one next to it.

Wow… scary, well not all is lost I know the best place to get quality whole foods, at prices that won’t break you, but will have you taking it seriously.

I will talk about that another day, but for now, eat well, live better, and be friendly!
